Coronavirus Update – 12.4.21

Shop local – shop safely!

Following the recent launch of the Government’s ‘roadmap out of lockdown’, we are making some changes to opening arrangements at The Shop from Monday 12 April.

Number of customers in The Shop

From 12 April we are increasing the number of customers permitted in The Shop to 2 customers at a time (+ children under 10 or with special needs from the same household)at a time. However, we are asking that customers shop alone if at all possible.

Please abide by all the Government guidelines including 2m social distancing and wearing face coverings whilst on The Shop premises (inside and outside), and please follow these procedures:

  • Join the queue outside and when prompted by a Volunteer please enter the Shop wearing a face covering (unless exempted)
  • Use the hand sanitiser by the Shop door before entering
  • Follow the one-way system in the Shop as per the arrows on the floor

Thank you to all our Customers for your continued support for The Shop during this difficult time.

We aim to provide a valued service to the local community throughout the current health crisis, while keeping our customers and our manager and volunteers working in The Shop as safe as possible.
